Beef Fillet with Paprika and Potatoes au Gratin

A royal meal for the best of the best.

Ingredients (4 people) :

  • 600 grams of beef fillet
  • 160 grams of cream cheese
  • 2 big potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1/2 glass of milk
  • 5 basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp of oil
  • butter for the pan
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions :

  1. Cut the potatoes in thin rings and boil it in salted water and strain them afterwards. Spread them in layers on a buttered pan. Mix the cream cheese with the milk, salt and pepper and spread the mix in between the potatoes. And afterwards bake them for 30 minutes in a preheated oven (180°C).
  2. Mix the paprika and the turmeric with salt and pepper, spread it on the beef fillets and sauté in a pan with hot oil. Wrap with silver foil and continue the baking for 20 minutes. 
  3. Serve the fillet cut in slices with the potatoes au gratin.
